Trip Photographer FAQs

What is a Trip Photographer service?

A Trip Photographer provides multi-day photography coverage for group getaways, bachelorette parties, and special celebrations. I document your entire adventure with candid moments and planned shots, so everyone can be in the photos and fully enjoy the experience without worrying about capturing memories.

What types of trips do you photograph?

I specialize in bachelorette parties, friend group getaways, milestone birthday celebrations, family reunions, and any single-day or multi-day group adventure.

How many hours of photography coverage do I get?

Coverage typically ranges from 3-6 hours per day, depending on your package and itinerary. We'll discuss your specific needs during our consultation to create a custom coverage plan that fits your trip schedule.

What's included in the Trip Photographer package?

Please check out my Trip Photographer page for more information. If you have any questions feel free to reach out HERE!

Do you help plan the trip itinerary?

Trip planning is available as an additional service starting at $750. I can provide basic itinerary recommendations, activity research, and local insider tips. Full-service trip coordination with booking assistance is also available for a higher investment. When you book one of the “Trip Documentation” Packages, it will be your responsibility to fill me in on the locations. There will be several meeting and messages back and forth to ensure everyone is on the same page!

Do you travel outside of Montana?

Yes! While I'm based in Western Montana, I'm available for destination travel pretty much anywhere in the world.

What about your travel expenses such as flights, lodging, food?

As your photographer, there are no hidden fees. Your invoice will have everything broken down for you. The only time that you will have to pay extra for my expenses is if there is with overseas trips and that will depend on lodging and transportation. Everything will be discussed and clearly written in the contract.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance, especially for peak travel seasons (spring through fall) and popular destinations. This ensures availability and allows time for proper trip planning if you choose that service.

What happens if weather affects our outdoor plans?

I always come prepared with backup plans and indoor alternatives. My experience with mountain weather and the Mississippi rains means I'm skilled at working with changing conditions and finding beautiful shots regardless of the weather.

How do we receive our photos?

All photos are delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share images. You'll receive print rights for personal use, and I can also arrange professional printing if desired.

What if someone in our group doesn't want to be photographed?

Absolutely no problem! I respect everyone's comfort level and will work around anyone who prefers not to be in photos. Clear communication about preferences is always welcome.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, I travel with backup camera bodies, lenses, and memory cards to ensure your memories are never at risk due to equipment failure.
